Thank you, Katy. This is a great piece and I appreciate you keeping this conversation happening. What the male detractors miss in their “all crimes are investigated” comments is that A)you are not saying rape accusations shouldn’t be investigated, and B) often they are NOT investigated, which is why there are hundreds of thousands of unprocessed rape kits still sitting in police offices around the country. A freaking travesty.
